The third year of our vintage event consists of a fun ride with fun and enjoyment in the foreground and the World Championship race, which is under the patronage of the World Cycling Cup. All those who own a bike and the appropriate clothing according to the rules are allowed to take part.
It is extremely exciting to see what great times the racers can achieve with their much heavier bikes.
If you have a soft spot for the good old days, you should not miss the Vintage WM. Here it's all about riding vintage material, the racers may also be young!
On Saturday, 20.08.2022 - in the morning the ride with historical steel frame wheels will take place. The small round "Pillersee-Runde" is planned from St. Johann (municipal office) to Fieberbrunn via St. Jacob, St. Ulrich am Pillersee and back to St. Johann The big round "Loferer Steinberge-Runde" is planned from St. Johann via Fieberbrunn - Hochfilzen - Leogang - Saalfelden - Lofer - Waidring - St. Ulrich - St. Jakob - Fieberbrunn and back to St. Johann planned.
You can choose between the following route variations
approx. 70 km (640hm) - enjoyable / delightful / convivial / gradevole "Pillersee-Runde"
approx. 130 km (1180hm) - demanding / challenging / sophistiqués / ricercato "Loferer Steinberge-Runde"
Halfway along both routes there is a rennet station with Tyrolean delicacies to enjoy, Each participant will receive a starter package with attractive content.

Criteria:
- Only lugged steel racing bikes built up to 1987/88 are permitted The only exception to steel frames are the Vitus frames with joints. - A frame built after 1987/88 (replica) is also accepted if the equipment complies with the regulations.
- Only pedals with pedal baskets and belts are permitted (no clipless pedals)
- Racing bike handlebars with brakes and cables laid outside (Part internal wiring only permitted on top tube).
- Handlebar attachments such as triathlon handlebars or Spinaci are not permitted! - Shift lever on down tube - no paddle shifters on handlebars!
- Steel or light alloy wheels with max. 2cm height profile and at least 32 spokes (no carbon - or aero wheels).
- Road bike tyres (700 x 18 - 23C)
- Crank made of steel or light metal. - In general, no carbon parts may be installed! - Components made of aluminium are permitted. - Drive: Max. 2 times from 39-54 teeth, hub: Max. 8x up to 28 teeth
- A jersey that fits the time is mandatory. - Bicycle shorts and shoes that fit in with the time are appreciated.
- Helmet compulsory for all rides!
